As much as their customer service *sucks* I still love the fact that I can be anywhere in the world and recieve calls from / make calls to the US for a flat rate via vonage. Not only that but I can take my number anywhere I want. There something about being able help your younger sister with her homework from 6,000 mi away.
I was wondering, I’m using SkypeOut for my long distance call and I noticed a small lag when you talk with somebody with a land line. Does Vonage service have this small lag when you talk with any land line users?
I have not noticed any lag when using vonage. The quality of the phone calls is great. The only issue I have is with customer service. They are terribly understaffed. 9/10 times you call you’ll get a message saying to call back later because they’re busy and they take weeks to answer e-mail messages. They claim they are hiring new reps to resolve these issues, but who knows.nn1nn1nn1
