Glad to see Senator Feinstein completely ignored me. Would have been nice to hear thoughts on why this bill is a good idea. Looks like we will be paying for the RIAA to prosecute P2P users. Thanks Senator Feinstein.

Dear Mr. Rabinovitch:

Thank you for writing to me about the “Cooperative
Research and Technology Enhancement (CREATE) Act of 2004”
(S. 2192). I appreciate your thoughts on this legislation and
welcome the opportunity to respond.

The “Cooperative Research and Technology Enhancement
(CREATE) Act of 2004” passed the U.S. House of Representatives
as H.R. 2391, and was sent to the Senate for action. The Senate
Judiciary Committee, on which I serve, then passed this bill out of
Committee to the full Senate for consideration. I supported this
legislation in Committee, and will continue to monitor its progress
in the Senate. Please know that should the Senate take up this bill,
I will certainly keep your thoughts in mind.

Again, thank you for writing. I hope that you will continue
to write on matters of importance to you. Should you have any
further comments or questions, please feel free to contact my
Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-3841.

Happy Holidays.

Sincerely yours,

Dianne Feinstein
United States Senator
