Chris Dibona announced he is now on the OSI board. Give ’em hell Chris. You’re definatley right about misuse of the term “open source”. Last week I was speaking with a vendor who kept trying to convince me their product was open source. The sales guy couldn’t understand the difference between an open api and actually opening the code.

I’ll be at the MySQL Users Conference later this month. Anyone else planning on going?
