Tuesday, April 25th, 2006There has been some activity on the SlingPlayer related bugg I reported to the Wine team. It appears the bug actually affects other applications that use InstallShield as well. The problem was briefly fixed in 0.9.12, which I installed this week, but has been broken again in CVS head according to Philip Neves.
In the mean time I’ll continue to test it under 0.9.12. There are some additional steps towards getting the applications to run and they still don’t work perfectly. (more notes to come at a later date)
I also plan to retest Meetro, VLC and my other open bugs under 0.9.12. I’d really like to see the In2TV issues resolved, because I want my Babylon 5!
