Its always nice to see the FCC ignoring congress. Tthe House Energy and Commerce Committee, asked FCC Chairman Kevin Martin
to launch an investigation into how the NSA and other government agencies pressured phone companies to disclose customer records. Chairman Martin declined to investigate the matter in reponse to a request by National Intelligence Director Michael McConnell.
Since when do the offenders decide if officials should investigate their wrong doings? Criminals do not get to tell prosecutors whether or not to investigate their crimes.  Hopefully the EFF lawsuits will continue to make progress, because this is getting more ridiculous by the second.
