"For instance, at the upcoming SCaLE 7x conference in Los Angeles, the Fedora community is planning a FAD for working on fonts, packaging, and documentation. These are all areas where any beginner to intermediate Linux user could quickly learn to contribute valuable effort to FOSS through the Fedora Project. In addition, we have FADs coming up throughout the year — in the near future, this includes several in India and another at LinuxFest Northwest in April."
